And whatsapp is competing too ;) I see its top in the South African Android market!

Any IM program that's tied to a specific platform will only be moderately successful in the long run.

I doubt it. Great for Apple users and all, but BBM still has BIS (and fixed price) on it's side. Anyhow, iMessage is limited to iOS/OSX, so I seriously doubt it will kill BBM.

Lol, it never ceases to amaze me just how little the Apple fanboys know about how BBM works and ties into the RIM network and just why it is so special and indispensable Lol..."BBM Killer" ROTFLMAO...

Did not know of this NokNok. And Mxit is to unreliable app. And for phone illiterate people the BIS setup & use is much easier than Mxit with a fixed cost, not that Mxit uses much anyway.
 
Never heard of nok nok.....maybe if they advertised it more, then it wouldn't be closing. Whatsapp for the win
 
WhatsApp for Smartphones, Mxit and BBM for Stupidphones?
