Have a look at our fantastic TP-Link products that we have on offer. Also take note of our two new TP-Link items, the TD-W8961ND and the TD-8817.
All of the above can be viewed here

@ Kernel - The prices above, are they the same as your supplier prices or are the supplier prices a bit less?

I'm after two TP-LINK PA211

Could you confirm stock in Cape Town?

I don't know, some of the products, like the MR-3420, give a great deal of trouble !

I think thats a bit of an ufair comment Jola, a quick scan through this or any other online forum will prove that the TP-LINK brand is a realible well built unit, if this werent the case, we'd hardly be willing to offer a 2 year warranty on the brand.

@ kernel - I currently have a TP-link 3g router and I want to know if it's worth while combining it with a wired ADSL TP-link router or if I should just get a wireless ADSL router? Reason I'm asking is I want to know if there will be any latency when connecting the 3G router to the ADSL router and if I can avoid it by just getting the wireless ADSL router?

Which products would your recommend for either situation?

Hi

My suggestion would be to get a wired ADSL router like the TD-8817 and connect it to the WAN port on the TL-MR3420, there wont be any noticeable difference in performance between doing it like this or going with a Wireless ADSL router.

There are also negative threads about it, also on MBB.

I don't find it reliable, and it needs new firmware to sort these issues out. TP-Link have been very slack about this, I won't buy any of their products again.

Very happy with my TD-W8960N. I use 2 Ethernet cables for my PCs, wife uses a WiFi link for her ipad and the kids use the wireless links to their PCs.

We're well aware of the negative posts, this is unavoidable with products that are sold in large quantities but the fact that the number of positive posts far outweigh the negative posts is testament that the product is not of inferior quality, we've posted on numerous occasions that end users should not contact TP-LINK support directly but rather work through our local support as this usually results in the issues being addressed a lot quicker and we’re able to ensure the problems are ultimately resolved.

I believe the issue that you're referring to is the dynamic DNS instability, while I understand this is a frustration I don’t think the product in its entirety should be poorly rated because one feature in the router is not working exactly as it should.

Uniterm Direct have been very involved on MYBB in addressing support issues end users are raising and we're getting all of these issues sorted out, some take longer than others to get rectified, like I pointed out on that particular forum where the DNS issue is being discussed at length, we are testing the TL-MR3420 with Dynamic DNS and are working with TP-LINK to get it sorted out and I assure you we will get it working.

OK, it is just one feature that does not work, but that disables the product completely ( for most users that have this problem), so it is rather critical.

And when will there be built-in support for the E367 and E372, so that we don't have to rely on bin files produced by users (or unstable "3G Modem" support) - these modems have been on the market since the end of 2010 !

The TP-Link software support is pretty poor. Note that I'm not saying that the hardware is bad, it seems OK, but that doesn't help if the software is inadequate.

I hope its the right thread to post this.

I have TL-WN722N wireless usb adapter and I'm having periodical blue screens lately, and it seems that the main culprit is athur.sys

Am I the only one who is having such problems?

Kenny, no reports of this issue, its possible that the hardware may be faulty, if you can send it back to us, we'll test it and replace if necessary.
