iPhone 4S MTN launch details

Im paying R500 for MTN 500 contract with the Blackberry Storm 2... so for me this deal looks awesome as the Storm 2 and BB in general is the most pathetic thing I have ever owned...
 
When the iPhone 4 came out last year the 16 model was R380 on MTN 200. Why is the 4s so much more expensive? Seems like those who could finally afford an iPhone because MTN launched the iPhone at a reasonable price point will not have the same luck with the 4s.
 
Paying R222 per month for my 4S on Vodacom talk 120s. Thats with no cash payment.
 
MTN updated their website for the first time since July for this? Oh,only the IPhone page. I see in the Smartphones section you can still only download July's yello trader...LOL.
 
Gonna sit this one out and wait for the iPhone 5. My guess is it will make an appearance in June/July.

The 4s is not a big enough upgrade over my 4 to justify the expense.

Also, the battery issue still seems to be going on unsolved.

Looks like MTN is trying to be the most expensive this time round.

I will keep my Galaxy S till it dies on me. Works great and does everything I need it to do. No need for accessories and I don't buy a phone only to sell it after a few months of use. If you sell after a few months then I would say you didn't get a good deal or a good phone.
