Nice gesture by Axxess! Only wish more data per person was allowed!
 
Gah! Tried everything with that gconnect site. Tried credit card payment ... no go, error. In the end I even loaded R50 in topup credits (R2.50 of that even went to some 'charity') ... no go! Unexpected error this, and wrong Passkey error that...eish. :mad:

Just did an EFT with G-connect. Went through without any problems.

If I click on the link on the discount page, it still shows the normal amounts when signing up.

Look at the top of the signup page. In red:
The Valentine's Day Discount is running. All prices shown will have less 28% deducted on completion of order.

Pity I am still working night-shift as I only get home at 9am then the discount is only 22%. But better than nothing ;)

No, it doesn't.

That is why I am asking.

You have to click on submit while it is still showing the normal amounts and that is not a good idea.
 
Wireless G is showing a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error on their signup page.

Also getting this message:

"The server encountered an unexpected error which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The Server Administrator has been notified and the error logged.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused. "

Update: Just informed Wireless G of this error. They were not aware of it, but confirmed it from their side after trying to log in themselves.

Update 2: Wireless G just called to say they fixed it, and it seems to be working now. Very quick reaction from their side.

Update 3: Now I am not receiving the passkey that is supposed to be sent to you via sms after buying the 1GB from Wireless G.

Decided to drop it an move on. Don't need to be frustrated this early in the morning for 1GB. ;)

This is a rip-off. I have an existing account, so I logged in, then clicked on the Valentine's Ad on Axxess's page. Then I selected the 5Gb Axxess Lite Prepaid option and completed the purchase. The full amount was deducted.

So by clicking on the Valentine's Promo banner, customers are then taken to a page which only sells at the full price.

I added the 30GB Cybersmart bandwidth to the church account, not that they need it (use 5GB of their 25GB a month) But thank you Cybersmart!
 
14c per GigaByte = R140 for a TeraByte
Which is why they only allow 1 GB per person

If only the normal price was closer to this, I wouldn't need uncapped anymore :(
 
Gconnect signup is a no go. Clever. Run a promotion and then make sure you site is slow enough so that you can actually sell it.
