As an ADSL subscriber, please rate them on performance (speed and latency), support, value for money and overall satisfaction.

Please give your ISP’s name, and a score out of 5 (5 = Excellent, 1 = Pathetic).

Please also tell us how your ISP can improve to make you a happier customer.

Basically always buy a once off uncapped account with them for just R418 and it works great. Speeds are very good considering its a IS account and considering that from 2-9march my usage is on 130GB.

Wow at a mere R418 thats +- R80 cheaper than all other offerings you just can't go wrong. Never really needed support with the account cause it always works and if it doesn't its IS related so I just ride it out.

Really worth it and trust me its the cheapest best 4mb uncapped account you can get for its price.

Imaginet.co.za

3/5

Price per gig is way more than other companies, but used them since they claimed their accounts were unshaped for games but always got high latency similar to shaped accounts so dropped them for my current ISP's but before that I also tried Axxess with same results.

Plugg.co.za

5/5

Offers 2 Concurrent connections and I get my full 4MB line speed 24/7
Uncapped 4MB - R499

Improve: Tech support

FNB Connect.
I rate a 5. Good speeds, good service and a reliable connection (never had any downtime).

At R25 per GB I get

FREE:
FNB Online Banking 24/7
YouTube 7pm – 11pm
Facebook & Twitter 7pm – 11pm

And I get 2gb per month free as I bank with FNB. I am a happy customer.

Wazzup.co.za
4/5
I have a 384 uncapped service for R305/month (including line rental). It is a pity they do not offer uncapped any more, since I want to upgrade my line speed to 1 Mb/s, and will have to go to another ISP to stay uncapped.

I always had excellent personal service from them, especially during the time when my Telkom exchange was congested (before the upgrade). They gave persistent good technical diagnostic service, that enabled us to pinpoint the problem at the exchange.

I always enjoy good speeds, even during the day. I am not a bandwidth hog, and use about 25 GB / month. My children do large downloads over weekends only.

SAINET

4/5

Include the 1024 line in their all-inclusive packages

FNBConnect

2.5/5

More consistent performance

SAOL

4/5

Decent pricing, good line speeds and downloads, support could do with some improvement

Wireless Dimensions
Performance - 5 - Consistent speeds at all times on local and international
Support - 5 - the best support of all the ISP's I deal with.
Value for Money - 2 - not competitive with other ISP's
Overall satisfaction - 5
The Customers that I have that use WD know that they can get better deals, yet they choose to stay with WD as they are happy with the service provided.

Nashuaisp

I think Nashua is underrated as for the entry level broadband (384kbps) for same price as Telkom, I get 2GB data per month.
Connection is good and the only problems that I have had were problems with Telkom's line.
I rate them as 4/5 and the improvements they could make is decrease price of top-up data and ensure that their webpage stays up more often. This does not affect the connection though.

I am with paarlonline. I have a 1mbps line and it is uncapped. It is a wireless service. I never have any downtime and I get my proper speed which I pay for, its also unshaped. Latency on cape town server is 70-80ms.

I give them a 5/5. Good customer care as well :)

They can however up my speed but keep the cost the same. Would not do any harm.

I pay R500 a month.

SmartVillage
4Mbps up and down. Uncapped. Speeds is absolutely brilliant. Service seems to be great so far. Fibre to just outside my house and about 30meters copper underground with an ehternet termination in my home. Absolutely just works! Very impressed with them so far.

Vitalitybroadband prices is on par with the rest. Customer service is very good.

5/5 thanks keep up the good work
