Top tech deals this weekend (26-28 October 2012)

The PS3 320gb is starting to get replaced by the 12gb in the market.
 
That PS3 deal is excellent. The new PS3 slim has poor build quality and a much less cool disc tray. I was tempted to get the Vita deal, but upon investigation it seems like the platform is already dying and that version of FIFA is a joke. Oh well.

Yea dude, I bought a Vita, moerse mistake that thing is receding so fast, unless they (sony) do something amazing like port the entire PS2 library to it, it's dead in the water.

The problem is that it cost Sony a lot to make the Vita and they charged a lot. These days smartphones have amazing games and they're cheap. And the hardware is already present because it's a phone, pocketable and always with you. Developing for the Vita is very expensive, so only insane sales figures would justify developing for it.
