Vodacom ad-hoc data prices discounted

Is it not standard business practice to give a bigger discount as you purchase a larger quantity or in this case a larger data bundle size  . Silly vodacom

Another day, another uncompetitive Vodacom promotion. The Scameelperd seems incapable of realising that Vodacom needs to drastically slash its prices and not just on a promotional basis.

Well my Vodacom contract Expires on 20 Dec, my application to port to Cell C was handed in yesterday, not long now.

I can't find these on *111# Does that mean I have to phone the call centre to get it activated? Also, can I activate one from today or will it only be active from 1 January (since it is month to month)? Can I activate a bundle and cancel its recurrence immediately and do this at the beginning of every second month?
As a top-up subscriber, can I use my monthly balance to purchase this bundle or do I need to pay in extra for this?

Can still get 2x 1GIG. from 8ta, for the price of 1x 1GIG. from Vodacom - i.e. double for the same price. Come on Vodacom, please stop efffing around, and get serious ...

I still get this cheaper if i roam on mtn with 8ta 2gb for R266 :P what a fail again, they only follow never lead

Bundles are pro rata as well. Bought 1GB thinking that will see me through till the end of December, but i only got 462.45MB :(

At least the 1GB bundle matches the Cell C pricing.

What is wrong with the CASH money from prepaid users VC ? At least it is guaranteed payment....

I'm going away over the festive season, where my 8ta has no coverage. The Vodacom 1GB or 2GB would have been perfect for me, but if you don't want our prepaid cash, then thats your loss....

I think Cell C covers the area of the KZN south coast where we will be going, so I will rather give them my cash...

This is a time of year where Vodacom could seriously cash in from prepaid users - most people are away from home where they might have fixed ADSL internet. They will be all looking at buying prepaid bundles that they can use on holiday.

But nooooo, Vodacom in all their wisdom will not make attractive data offers for them....their loss, at the expense of competitors gain.
