After watching this video, and with the way people drive and the way the police behave, I think it is a good idea to get one.

Does anyone here know where to buy a decent quality one locally?

This video is quite upsetting. I hope the guy gets locked up. I second your question about a good quality dashcam.
 
I've been wanting one as well. All I could ever find was a GoPro.

I use a keychain cam, $45. The 808 #16 v2 with D lens:

If you have contact (or shop) details, do post it. If it's a cell number, obfuscate it slightly to prevent spammers from harvesting said numbers with their spambots.

I'm sure lots of people will appreciate the gesture by having contact details available.

And it is a good idea to have a dash cam - especially with id ten t's driving all over the place.

Ja, I saw this video and agree that it's a must have nowadays....not a nice to have anymore. It can really save one in a court case.
