Bad Driving thread

Wish I could get a fog light zapper installed on my car, and zap inconsiderate people who tend to drive with their foglights on...

It's **** irritating, especially at night, when you have to stop behind said inconsiderate person at a traffic light

This is why my behemoth is getting a "few" spot lights soon...

Then I will just drive up behind said tosshead and flip on every single light... blind the fekker.

Don't blame the driver. BMW's come without a switch for the fog lights (as standard so can't be turned off) and also no indicator switch/lever for the indicators.

BS. It's the dumb toss who thinks every single light switch has to be turned on. You have to physically switch on your front and rear fogs every time you switch the car on on a BMW. It's not like you can leave the fogs in an 'on' position.

Obviously it's sarcasm

I'm saying that you physically have to switch the fogs on on a BMW. There is no permanent on position.

I am looking at buying a new car soon and need some advice. Does anybody know if the douchbaggery is instant or does it take time to manifest itself. Thinking of maybe not buying a BMW to avoid the hassles.

BMW's are actually now safe in this regard. Watch out for Fortuners, they seem to be the new brand to be careful off...

Don't own a Fortuner nor a BMW, but when you drive a Fortuner, you can drive over a BMW. So, I agree :)

My pet peeve at the moment is the belief some people in Joburg have that sticking an "L" plate in your back window immediately gives you the necessary skills and experience to drive, on your own, in peak traffic.
I see these people regularly, drifting too close to the kerb or straddling the lanes, stalling or rolling back on an uphill pulloff, 'parking' between 2 bays, etc. Most of them are not young people learning to drive, they just appear to have obtained a car from somewhere and are 'learning by doing'

Yesterday this guy indicated for a while to get in from the middle lane to the left lane on Beyers just before the turn to Jim foche, the lady in front of me refused to let him in, i so I slowed down to let him in and she stopped dead so as not to let him in, and gave me the look of death. she had to move eventually so he did get in to the lane.
Now look the dude isn't entirely innocent he is trying to avoid the traffic on the left and come in late, but its not illegal or anything, (no solid line and he indicated for quite a while before trying to edge in) the thing is I just see it as she carried on as if he had no right to come into her lane as if she owned it.

The lady was right. This is the tactics used by Taxi Driver also.
