Bad Driving thread

The lady was right. This is the tactics used by Taxi Driver also.

he indicated in advance, it was quite a bit of a distance to the turn, he didn't just jump or force in, he actually waited for some one to give way, traffic wasn't moving fast there was a gap in front of her he was about to edge in, and she accelerated, I made a gap she stopped dead- so shes right I guess I missed the part where she owned the road?

Not quite as bad as the knobs who drive up to a stop and turn left or right from a straight only lane, cutting in-front of everyone who has patiently being waiting to turn.

To the genius in the white NP200 (BV 65 SV) who tailgated us on the N1 past John Vorster at 08h20, whilst we were passing heavy traffic at 110km/h: I hope your impatience doesn't cause injury to anyone except yourself!

I might let someone in if we are both far from the front of the queue. If its far from the front of the queue, I can accept that you made a genuine mistake. Close to the front of the queue, I dont care how much you indicate, I'll be sitting on the bumper of the car in front of me.

Completely agree..

and if its a company vehicle with company branding and a contact number, i also now make a point of phoning the company and complaining about their representatives driving.

Our town is in a diamond area and the newly proclaimed Sperrgebiedt National Park. Animals have more rights than people... we have two main herds of gemsboks, about 40 each, Springbok,Heyena , Ostriches and Jackals.... the Gemsboks trash peoples gardens and have a fancy for Roses....

First time visitors here are astonished to see these beasts walking past the local SPAR....

Back on topic, there are really a lot of bad drivers out there. Monday on my way back home, a truck in front of me just stops dead, and started rolling backwards, not worrying about what's going on behind him. Luckily the guy behind me went into another lane, so I had a bit of space to work with.

Yesterday on my way to home, I was driving behind some chop, that just decided to speed up, and slam on the breaks. Hell knows how I manage to stop, but I did.

To the driver of the blue Polo, who sped into a small gap in front of me just after Olifantsfontein, at 06h00 this morning: I hope you don't cause injury to anyone else except yourself!
