That section of road is always a mess; I let people in quite happily if they indicate. The lady was right. This is the tactics used by Taxi Driver also.
I might let someone in if we are both far from the front of the queue. If its far from the front of the queue, I can accept that you made a genuine mistake. Close to the front of the queue, I dont care how much you indicate, I'll be sitting on the bumper of the car in front of me.

Our town is in a diamond area and the newly proclaimed Sperrgebiedt National Park. Animals have more rights than people... we have two main herds of gemsboks, about 40 each, Springbok,Heyena , Ostriches and Jackals.... the Gemsboks trash peoples gardens and have a fancy for Roses....
First time visitors here are astonished to see these beasts walking past the local SPAR....

Monday on my way back home, a truck in front of me just stops dead, and started rolling backwards, not worrying about what's going on behind him. Luckily the guy behind me went into another lane, so I had a bit of space to work with.
Yesterday on my way to home, I was driving behind some chop, that just decided to speed up, and slam on the breaks. Hell knows how I manage to stop, but I did.
