hi guys


Are any of you in their wimax offering ?
am thinking of getting the R499 option , the agent advised that its 1mb no matter what time of day no shaping e.t.c
this does sound like a good deal seeing there is no line chargers etc form telkom , please advise on your experience
 
they now have offerings for home users but no month to month to test the product etc

Using 1meg here,think it's been down about 10minutes total since we got it,latencies are superb
 
so you basically maxing your 1meg line when downloading?

I hate having to sign for a year
 
Pretty much bang on 2meg for my 2meg,sometimes a wee bit faster
Upload's even faster :P
 
I can't find consumer wimax pricing on their site, or am I just havning a blond moment here?
 
I was told to work through a channel manager they then mail you the pricing etc

Hi

Pricing sent to everyone and the guy at Neotels cont. number if you have further queries.

When i called the call centre and asked whats the FUP his answer was that within the 1st 2 weeks of having your service
and you reach 121Gigs they reduce the line speed. When asked what the FUP is if i download 200gigs he referred me to the 121gigs for the 1st 2 weeks.

I ws with NoeTal at the previous company I worked with and the Wimax was super cool fast, unshaped and uncapped. But dont think you can get technical issues resolved. That was a major pain in the backside dealing with neotel. IMHO they have the product but not the service.

So why you leave the sweet speed ? am sure that cant be worst than telscums Wimax call centre . I suppose with a lil elbow
grease you could find the techie at neotel under all the rubbish.
