Android loses privacy feature

Google Inc has removed an experimental privacy feature from its Android mobile software that had allowed users to block apps from collecting personal information such as address book data and a user’s location.

The comments section states that KitKat 4.4.2 killed the app

So I guess those on 4.4.2 will just have to wait for a update, in the mean time those on 4.4 and lower can enjoy the settings this app unlocks.

They remove a privacy block, but add a block to the battery/wakelock stats? Doesn't make sense to me...
