Android loses privacy feature

Google Inc has removed an experimental privacy feature from its Android mobile software that had allowed users to block apps from collecting personal information such as address book data and a user’s location.

I'm sure someone will create an app to block apps from accessing data, or allow access to "junk data"

They remove a privacy block, but add a block to the battery/wakelock stats? Doesn't make sense to me...
