Can't wait for this but I'm really looking forward to the series against India. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Smith is better in tests for now. Until the day he starts to fade, as he did in the ODI format, he should still play tests IMO.
 
Going to be an epic series. Just hope the Proteas will me mentally prepared for the sledging the Ozzies have taken to a new level
 
Replacing Kallis will be difficult.Do we go with the extra batsman or bowler? I think the answer will lie in the conditions. If it looks like a batting deck, we may need the extra seamer, whilst if the wicket is bowler friendly, we need to adjust and choose the extra batsman.

Ideally, I would prefer this team to start the first test against Australia.

If you really want to a spinner, maybe Harmer? but I am very skeptical about throwing him in... I'd rather stick with Robbie.

Tahir has shown that he doesn't have the ability to bowl tight and be consistent in his lines.

Smith wouldn't last more than 1 over against Mitchell Johnson 2.0.

I beg to differ. Smith is as gritty and determined as they come. He will wear the blows and bat it out. The key for Smitters is knowing where his off stump is...
 
The Aussies are already starting with talking crap I see. I cant wait for them to get here!

He lasted longer than that in AUS vs Johnson while sustaining that small broken hand injury.

Saw they are saying that their pace attack is better than ours.... I wonder if they remember Vern and the others bowling them out for 47 the last time they were here.....
