Who sends e-mail securely in South Africa?

Why bother. If you don't want anybody seeing your email, put the content in an encrypted document that is attached to the email.

TLS has been a standard feature on pretty much every MTA. Not quite sure if standard Linux Postfix/SMTP has TLS enabled or not - perhaps that's the reason why Google added the report. Stats make no sense though when you look at the CSV. I would rather trust SenderScore/Senderbase - there is a reason why Google has no FBL handling and others such as Yahoo/AOL/Hotmail etc do....

To be honest, my online privacy...that ship has sailed years ago. No point in ranting and raving about the ever evolving list of free or paid online services. Love them all as it makes life just that much more convenient. People never know when something bad will happen until does.

Antivirus and Firewall solutions should be part of everyday online life IMHO! That's just a precaution you should not leave in the hands of others if you care somewhat about whatever you got online. :)

No point, If the nsa wanted to read our emails so badly they would.. and encrypting the emails wouldnt stop them.

But it would certainly help if your bank signed all communication to confirm source, even better if they encrypted it with your public key to lock out interception.

If only employees understood that sending fnb incontact stuff to your work address includes your salary payments in the subject line, auditing received email ofren has this together cute shopping info like which sex shops, hotels and clubs frequented

One wonders how this incidental info might be used?
