Vox Telecom Fatpipe

For those that are interested in post #5679.

This is how you get Postfix to whitelist for senders with no rDNS (usually spammers, but in this case it's a valid, albeit badly configured mail server)

I've edited /etc/postfix/main.cf and added a line (check_client_access hash:/etc/postfix/whitelist_helo):
Code:
smtpd_recipient_restrictions = permit_sasl_authenticated,
   permit_mynetworks,
   check_client_access hash:/etc/postfix/whitelist_helo
   reject_non_fqdn_helo_hostname,
   reject_unknown_helo_hostname,
   reject_unknown_reverse_client_hostname,
   reject_unauth_destination
Then added IP to /etc/postfix/whitelist_helo to allow it to be ignored.
Code:
root@meyling:/etc/postfix# cat /etc/postfix/whitelist_helo
209.203.37.214 OK
Ran postmap to update changes
Code:
postmap /etc/postfix/whitelist_helo
Lastly reloaded Postfix
Code:
service postfix reload

All working now. I can receive email from Vox until they fix their crappy mail setup. Hopefully a Vox tech reads this and makes the changes...

Can anyone tell me why I've got a 75GB account with only a 30GB allocation?

Account created last night.

I got billed the full amount so I can't see how its pro rata.

The bandwidth rolls over so there really shouldn't be any need for pro rata on these accounts.

EDIT: Seems you're right. It said R189 at checkout when I paid, but if I look at the account statement they only billed me R75 - so pro rata it is.

Hi all,

Just a quick question.. Haven’t really been downloading allot over the past few months, but now I have a few things I wanted to grab, but I'm having issues with doing so from Supernews via SABnzbd.

Anyone else perhaps having issues? Did something change in the last while with regards to Supernews/Takedowns and so forth?

I download about 400GB a month from Supernews using SABnzbd each month. Most of my grabs happen quite soon after content is released but the occasional things I get that are older don't seem to be a problem either currently.

I get the occasional incomplete but it's rare.

I'm trying to catch up on a few things, which Sonar didn't grap due to indexers issues. The content is only a month or two old.

HBO shows seem to be affected by DMCA on Supernews from time to time and a few of the other big network shows. I use a block account from Nextgennews that seems to fill in all the missing pieces for me.

Get a block account from NextGenNews, 200GB is R150, and add it as optional in SABnzbd, then when parts are missing on Supernews it will be used to fill in the gaps.

Have you just seen the amount of posts about these issues over the past two days in this thread?! Horrible performance from this ISP. Just look at all the complaints.
Are you using the right clone today or is the Mweb thread a bit quiet?
Maybe buy an account and come and tell us how it works.

Me using clones... Bwahaha. :D Unlike you, I have integrity.

Why yes, it is quiet. As per usual, for good reason.

You just haven't got a clue about this stuff, and it's hilarious.
