Telkom’s ADSL traffic stats revealed

the average data use per ADSL line is around 28GB.

Yep, a Gig per day.In fact I advocate that all telecommunication service providers provide their subscribers with 1Gig a day over 30 days on the cheap.:p

Cheap?Let's say below R200/pm.How's that?

wow, only 25TB? Is this only users using Telkom ADSL?
With Afrihost posting users doing a few TB per month on a single account this seems unlikely.

It's a typo. Should say PB.

you are off by a factor of 1024
and this is the ADSL network not Telkom Internet

I am currently somewhat happy with my 5Gb + 5Gb Telkom bundle that came with the modem and free weekend calls. Costs around 3 clips per month on average, voice line included.

Cellular providers should tell us their data stats as well, makes for interesting reading

Well if you're on the cheapest TI capped package you can easily do 3GB+ per day depending on your line speed if you download between 00:00-06:00

Since the article does not state that this is for residential customers can one assume that this includes business customers as well?
