E-toll prosecution process begins: report

Great, I can assure you they will never scrap these tolls, yes thats my opinion.
Too much corruption and too many kickbacks for this to just go away
I'm inclined to agree. Still, don't see why I should make their lives simpler.

You won't pay, even if it means imprisonment?

It's time we took a stand wouldn't you agree?

Do you think they can arrest everyone?

This is why we South Africans keep getting screwed, because no one has the balls to stand up to these people. We are too willing to back down in fear of these bully tactics.

I agree with your sentiment, but if a judge tells you to pay or go to prison, you will pay

The judge can find me in contempt of court :P

The more people that stand up to this, the better chances of success.

Do you think a judge will sentence the majority of the country to jail for contempt of court?

Let's see how this turns out. I still refuse to pay :)

100%. Way too many fat fingers in this e-toll pie to let it just slip ...

The advocates will take on 40 test cases, and will head to court “when they feel ready,” EWN was told.

Should be interesting... May they lose badly with major egg on their face.

I'm pretty sure they'll cherrypick the cases... so as to minimize the chances of losing.

Sounds like they going to make an example out of a small amount of people and use that as the tactic to make everyone else pay or face the consequences.
