5.4 Data/Internet Bundle

5.4.1 Customers shall be able to generate uncapped data usage, however, a fair use of 5GB (five gigabytes) will apply whereupon the speed will be limited to 384kbps.

The throttle is a bit suck but I use my data a lot and I only do about ~2.2GB/month so 5 gigs is a lot for the everyday user/youtuber.

When are these lunatics going to understand that, in an increasingly data hungry world we are living in, that data is FAR more important than unlimited calls or SMS text messages.

Unlimited calls....unlimited SMS, pfffffff. Give us a package like the 3 network in the UK gives - 300 minutes, 3000 texts and UNLIMITED "all you can eat" data for 15 UK pounds a month. Sure, you will get some that will try to abuse the system and tether their smartphone to their laptop....but they have the technology to restrict tethering on this package.

People found a way to tether data with Blackberries, they will find a way around that as well.

We just don't have enough fixed lines to make something like that viable.

There cellular is your secondary connection. Here people would use it as their primary connection.

Now if you only sold uncapped 3g to people that have uncapped adsl at home, that would be a great idea and may actually work.
 
It is getting to a point that I might actually think about the yellow operator.

You forget that this is primarily a voice contract. 5GB AUP is plenty for cellphone usage and those looking for more are those planning to tether and abuse the system ( and imho, since the dawn of uncapped, it were these abusers that ultimately brought upon these harsh AUPs we suffer )

Should it have been a data only contract I would agree with you, but it is not.

I wonder if this package allows secondary sims ie use the data in other devices
 
Remove unlimited calls and Sms and un-limit the data. Better deal
