So this is the last reply I got from the MTN rep here.

I have made the statement that I will TRASH them on all available fronts. The formal process was followed and I WAS IGNORED. 4 TIMES. Here I get the comment that I used the data. If one looks at the dongle application and my firewall you can see ZERO data being received by me.

So The night surfer option works untill 5:30. THEN MTN ZERO"S YOUR DATA ACCOUNT. AND THEY REFUSE TO GIVE A PROPER ANALYSIS. If I can do the 3 - 4 print screens showing data connectivity being DENIED, why do I have to take someones comment that the data was used without PROOF.

Morning of the 2 nd THEY GRABBED a full GB.

MTN YOU OWE ME 20 GB for all my effort that I put in showing something is wrong.

Untill proper feedback or discussion is started by your company, I will double the TRASHING on all social and available free market technologies.

THE USSD SYSTEM BEING DOWN the 2nd FOR 90 MINUTES IS GOING TO COST YOU AS WELL. I was ready to work waiting to do my transfers and purchases. I HAD TO REPLAN. MTN feels less then nothing for a client they have had for 15 Years. Surprise as well.

I had a 3 bar monthly corporate account with you. HITTING YOU FULL ON, on your brand is provided with my pleasure.

i am not impressed with the way you are bull shi tt ing me. It takes you more then a week to tell me data was used and then you have the slap in the face remark about new complaints. I have 4 previous days listed.

This is what I get from your ussd records. So next thing you going to tell me is that ussd is not updated even though I gave 20 - 25 MINUTES. And yeaa forget about self service.

I was one of your larger corporate clients as well. You guys sucked then and even more so now.

I PUT THE EFFORT IN TO SHOW WHAT I SEE AND CAN PROVE. I have a net limiter firewall running as well side by side. I trust you and your poorly managed team will do the same.




I actively check. Like now. MTN 141 service has been down from before 2 till well after 3:30. :

( MTN = ESKOM brothers in service or sisters on the street corner)

so yeaa hint hint WITH A SHOULDER tackle. Those cheap android huwaei drifter or something is a way of making up for my time lost. or I can bill you the same as the client. Euro's are accepted.

I have honestly tried to assist you. If you go through the forums you will see I have assisted lots of people here with their issues. I think its best that you follow the formal channels for your complaint as I am not the official rep, I just try to help out when I can

Haha, Went Through Something Like this with FNB... When i posted on Twitter @ their agents and Hashtagged with some incriminating Hashtag they Solved my Problem in 30min... Which 8 hours with their helpdesk which is there to solve the problems was not able to do.

Social Media will get you a response... or a Billboard next to a Public Road:p

yeah...i think someone is bull****ting, especially since they are complaining about a non official rep of MTN (it's even clearly stated so and the OP still refers to them as the MTN rep). me thinks someone isn't the sharpest knife in the draw.

i'm not sure if he's upset cause he lost 20GB (not sure how) or he's struggling with USSD (there was some recent MTN network problems)

It looks to me like he is very civil?

Obviously you have an issue with MTN service quality, but honestly with your incoherent rant, I'm struggling to follow you.
If your corporate account can afford it, find another service provider or if you prefer to stay with MTN go into a store and see if you can't resolve the problem.
I would advise you to stay calm during any form of communication.

If he was dropping 3 bar then he'd have access to a corporate account manager.
 
Our whole family is on MTN, we have never had a problem with them.

Am currently in secunda.... mtn tower near my location does not work although I have full signal :rolleyes:

hooray for cellc.... cellc trumps both 8ta and mtn....
 
This guys issue is so unclear.
I agree the unofficial MTN rep on this forum really tries to helps.

Last I checked, netlimiter is a software firewall... as in, you still recieve the data and the software blocks it, go figure
