Massive price cuts on gadgets, tech products - 13 February 2015

I haven't really caught on to the UHD TVs thing, you get the TV but where do you get the 4K content. Maybe i'll just wait until the 65" + are in the current price range of these 47" , by then i'm sure we will have more 4K video to use for them

Week on week it just simply amazes me how all retailers in South Africa are clinging onto old products at introductory prices. It's really not funny anymore to see these same products going for more and never less than the prices they were last year!

Oh, that and the fact that this article is just a glorified weekly post count builder! :whistle:
 
@ Ryansr, given the state of our currency, it's inevitable. Companies are carrying loads of stock that have been affected by import price fluctuations. They just don't want to commit heedlessly, and bring in even more new stuff. They seriously need to get rid of the old stock first.

This unfortunately happens in an economic climate that is not free flowing and mostly smoke and mirrors.
 
Anyone here know if the Samsung UA50HU7000 50-inch UHD LED has HDMI 2.0 or 1.4a?
