“Secret” Telkom fibre-to-the-home prices

A Telkom fibre access RFP document reveals the wholesale fibre-to-the-home access price from the company

Telkom proposed three fibre-to-the-home products: 20Mbps/2Mbps, 40Mbps/3Mbps, 100Mbps/10Mbps (download speed/upload speed).

Not really. The 100Mbps is about what I pay for 10Mbps at the moment.

Yeah, upload speeds are pathetic to say the least. I'd much rather have 15Mb DL and 5 MB UL than 20MB DL and 2MB UL.

It was a "Secret" according the headline. I hope there weren't any NDAs associated with the proposal.

123NET fibre also sent a proposal for Constantia.

10mb down + up, 1000mb local traffic (uncapped) - R799
