FNB website and App down

The FNB website and mobile App experienced downtime on Monday 18 May 2015, but the cause of the downtime remains unknown.

They might have been doing maintenance.

It's not uncommon to land early morning in Dubai for a stopover and then have your FNB credit card not work because of maintenance.

Today is the day I transfer all funds out of my cheque account after they took away my fee saver when I downgraded to gold. What a coincidence!

Jirre, just because you wanted to cancel your account, FNB took their website down, and now the whole country has to suffer, way to go.

I had payments to make today, couldn't you have chosen to cancel tomorrow instead?

Thanks a lot! i wanted to pay the deposit on my place as well as my daughters schooling! you have ruined my families life and now my daughter cant get an education... thanks a mill mate

Definitely not true. I log in to my FNB account at least 4 to 5 times a day, can't remember the last time they were down.

Who else do you have accounts with?

I know when FNB is down because I bank with them. I also know when ABSA is down (they were down one evening last week too) because the wife banks with them.

The rest? No idea.
