Official Vox DSL feedback thread

Pings have escalated to 600ms. Also in Durban.

EDIT: Changed to Google DNS and issues have improved drastically.

Also having problems today, on Fatpipe Lite + Bolton. Download speed slow, sometimes nothing happening. Now main problem is high latency and frequent disconnects. Can't play online atm.

I'm not Voxy or his replacement :) Just shedding some light on the Durban issue.

There is currently an issue in Durban and we are working on it. Unfortunately I cannot give you an ETTR as yet, but we are 100% working on resolving it as soon as possible.

Glad to know that Vox knows about the issue and is working on it. This has been the first weekend in 6 months that I've had any issues on my Vox account.

Thanks for the update. Things still very shaky this morning, can't get more than 1Mbps on a 10Mbps line at the moment in Durban. Experiencing latency mostly below 50ms, but unstable throughput.

Durban should be fine at the moment. The issue hasn't been resolved, but we've implemented a temp fix for now. I cannot see any issues with the Durban connection currently (at 7:45AM).

Yoh ... problems started 13/04/2016 .... I can see there is an improvement with the "temp" fix. But Honestly Vox, I reported this issue when it started, and not once have I had feedback? And BTW the support portal on the android app is not working and not once was there an outage or error report on the messages section for KZN. You need to be far more proactive with feedback to clients.

Thanks for feedback. Local server speed tests returned to normal around 6am (ish) but it feels like some international sites/services are not what they should be, I am assuming this is just because of the temporary workaround and these should also come back to normal in time (?)
