Official Vox DSL feedback thread

Lekker Vox. Went and overcharged me by R150.

I ran out of cap last week and did a 5gb top up to get through the remainder of the month.

Few days later I got an error saying I exceeded my limit again. Which was impossible. Went to my Control Panel and it showed as expected that I still had 4.8gb cap left. Contacted Live Support from the office later and agent confirmed it was an error on their side. She said she fixed it and I confirmed seconds later with the wife that it was working at home again. Great friendly service.

2 days later the exact same thing happens. So I'm at work again with wife at home. Contact live support again and agent again confirms that he has fixed the error on their side. Wife confirms. Bit of an inconvenience but nothing major. Service was friendly again.

Today my debit order goes off and amount seems a bit steep. So I head over to my control panel to view the last invoice and they billed me for 2 extra top ups on my account. 1 x 5gb and 1 x 10gb. Both of them on the days of the live support guys helping out.

I have contacted accounts via email to request a credit on my account.

Get your act together Vox. These little errors add up over time.

Having endless problems with my fatpipe account. Got 252gb but can hardly browse the internet. Had to switch to my phone to send this message. Its terrible... Downloads more or less at a stand still...

Same here last night same story....Syncing at 24Mb/s full speed on speed test but downloads going at 100kb/s

Switched to webafrica test account and its full speed again....Vox back with there f@%king capacity issues again!

Vox Credit Card Direct Order

For the past 3 months I have received a suspension notice due to non-payment. My payments should go through via a Debit Order from my credit card. Each time I have been told by their Debtor Department that they have a problem at their end and I should pay manually. Why has this still not been sorted out and why do they send an e-mail threatening cut-off when it's their fault!!

Good we new with Vox. We an uncapped 4mb line and data bundle with Vox. The speedtest are consistently around 2.5mb downstream and 0.2kb/s up. This cant be normal. Youtube is definitely a priority on the network since i can run multiple streams at once without buffer (not 720p though). As soon as i try streaming on Kodi i get buffered to death, it wont even start. Can someone please give me some advice. I noticed last night that the torrents downloaded at less than 100kb/s and seeders outweigh the leechers by a few thousand.

I called once for something unrelated and i must say the level of service was impressive. it was like the guy had infinite time to talk to me.

TIA

My vox fatpipe account is messed up again tonight. Afrihost and WebAfrica backup accounts are fine, horrendous pings to even a local server.

Vox is screwed atm...over 510Ms ping and can't get more than 2Mb/10Mb.

All other accounts are fine.

Must have been a Telkom issue, I was streaming Netflix at 1080P last night without issues.

I have two vox accounts, one for home and one for work. Home uses NNGY01 Exchange was hitting 600ms pings last night and less than 1mb download. Switched to afrihost and it was fine.

My work account this morning uses Pinetown NPWN exchange, pings are +100ms and speed is a bit slower than normal..
