Official Vox DSL feedback thread

Seems to be back up now - they also have a recorded message indicating their upstream provider is performing maintenance which may lead to their southern customers experiencing "intermittent" issues :mad:
 
So regarding that price increase, anyone get a word about existing contracted pricing?
 
Everything is normal except for NNTP which seems to be stuck at around 25% line speed, this is the first time so it might just be my Usenet provider and not Vox, anyone else?

I'm getting 400kBps on a 20mbit line... so like 20% of what it should be...

My PSN downloads are also hella slow.

Speedtest says everything is dandy :P

Are you family of JZ or what? 20% of 20 is not 0.4 ! ! ! You get more like 2% but never mind. If it is slow enough to bother you than it is too slow :D

How much is 20% of 2000KB/s?

400KB/s?

Just a side note the slow speeds I had yesterday on NNTP is no longer a issue today and everything is working great.

Hi Voxy, what is the point of asking me to phone in the evening when I experience the problems that (your engineer) was helping me with, when all the call centre staff can do is ramble off answers from a check list. No one available that can ACTUALLY assist.
 
NNTP limited to 1.4mb/s this evening , normal 3.9mb/s.
P2P still broken max 400kb/s was 3.3mb/s until last year Nov/Dec.

Using FATPIPE 150gig accounts
Based in Cape Town

Anyone else experiencing this?
