Afrihost mobile voice prices unveiled

Will the current Afrihost Mobile Data Sims be able to do voice calls as well?
 
Afriguy, is there something interested clients of Afrihost can do to be part of the group that gets access to this tomorrow?
 
79c a minute call rate, over and above the normal data charges you already get from AH (or Axxess with rollover)

What am I missing that makes this a worthwhile change for current MTN prepaid users?

I was hoping to see a call rate closer to 60c/minute. Hopefully this will come down in due time.
It's also a shame that the first 500MB doesn't cost R29 as is the case with their current mobile data offering.

Exactly my question as well.

For one, they give you clientzone, which is a joy to use. Apart from that, the pricing is rather uncompetitive it seems.
 
They should offer the option to buy devices interest free over 24 months, like FNB does. That'll give them market share.

Virtual mobile networks are popping up a lot recently. What makes Afrihost better than Me&You which offers R300 pm for unlimited calls

Just because they do not charge interest, does not mean that you are getting it at the best price. FNB devices are mostly priced higher than other shops.
 
I'm wondering if the AH APN will still work with prepaid MTN SIM's.

I'll be sad if it stops working :(

MTN signature bundles give you an effective rate in the 50c's, cellc 66c and Vodacom matches @ 79c, telkoms also comparable.

Afrihost, I want this. Please select me as one of the first users! AfriGuy, AfriMan, AfriLady, AfriPerson etc. :D
