Afrihost 1 Jan 8AM, ADSL just died?

What happened, Afrihost ADSL just died 1 Jan 2017 8AM? Switched to Telkom ADSL account and that works.
 
Went down here at 8am as well - are we all in Cape Town or is this national?
 
Confirmed dead on 2 accounts. Cape Town.

Accounts authenticate, but no data flows.

I've been grappling with moving to VOX...it might just be...imminent!
 
No problems with my ADSL connection in Swellendam WC

I did have to reboot my router first thing this a.m. to get internet access back
 
Sounds like the Cape Town IPC is probably down. In which case it's an underlying Telkom issue.
 
Same here, connected, got an IP but no throughput...southern cape

We are currently seeing errors when DSL and Mobile Data clients attempt to connect to our network. Affected clients are not able to connect at all. We are working with our team to determine the cause of the problem and hope to have this resolved as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologise to affected clients for any inconvenience this may cause.

Yup... here as well. Two Afrihost accounts dead, no data. Vox working hundreds.
