The programming languages in high demand in South Africa

Learn Java, Angular and some automation tool like Chef/Puppet and you'll have a job for life... or at least the next 5 years :D
 
Nothing said of huge shortages for GOOD skilled programmers that specialize in legacy applications. (COBOL, Natural etc).

Too many companies are jumping onto this when they don't really have the data sets to support such investments.

Also, I see some of these businesses struggling, the market is tough for many reasons.
