We won’t kill Paint – Microsoft

Microsoft will not kill Paint, and has promised the app is only moving to the Windows Store – where it will be available for free.

They should have just left it int he core. The windows store is a nightmare and I still do not really see the point of it.

Why not just can it anyway? The 1 person who still uses Paint, can download Paint.NET.

I use mspaint regularly.
For mega zoomed in pixel by pixel image editing, in a simple and uncluttered interface, nothing beats paint.

Can still do it in the "new" Paint 3D.
