Hi All

Anyone know of suitable external antenna's for a Huawei B618s-22d? I live in Helderkruin and signal is not the best using Rain Lte. I get 1 or no signal bar and maximum speed I have managed to get was 12Mbps. Looking at maybe adding external antenna's to the router.

you would need LTE-A with 2x*TS9 connector, you will also need a directional antenna and that works from 1700Mhz
– 2700Mhz.

We run in band 3 and band 38. You will have to look for an antenna that supports both those
frequencies.

jeanres. Let us know how your signal is before and how it's after the XPOl-06 is added (do you know which tower is your closest one?)

You can email Rain (or your ISP). They cannot tell you the precise co-ordinates. But can give you the general direction from your house to tower. (so that you know where to point it)

with the external antenna, keeping in mind its raining and windy as hell here where I stay and I have not tweaked the position too much

RSRQ: -5dB
RSRP: -83dBm
SINR: 6dB

They seem to work, please try and find TS-9 ones, I can't

CR9 connectors do not work well.

Purchased the correct connectors from Poynting Direct Samrand Centurion and I am happy with the results, see images below
