DSTV Now app available on Samsung Smart TV

I just discovered that there is now a DSTV Now app on my 2015 Samsung Smart TV.

I downloaded it and it works well. How has no one reported on this or did launch very recently?

I think it's awesome. No more need to cast from my phone.

Has anyone else spotted the app?
 
Think it will be on the Hisense? Will check.

That sounds like exactly the sort of thing that makes you need a DSTV Now app (with someone else's login details). Would need it less as a subscriber.
 
Its strange. I thought my tv was a 2017 model but turns out also a 2015 model according to the DSTV Now app. Wasn't available the same time as Espee's though
 
UA43MU7000. The one at Game for R6999.00 currently. Has Youtube, Netflix, Amazon, Spotify pre-installed with Showmax and DSTV Now downloadable. Great quality as well. Just watched the Lions semi in full HD on a 4mbps ADSL line

50" is R8,695.00 @ Digital Experience... May be better value right now :)
 
Anyone with a Hisense Smart Tv that can confirm if it has got dstv now. Would like to maby get the 43' smart from fnb for extra
 
i have set my TV up as UK region so I get apps for BBC, ITV Channel 4 among others. Am guessing that as a result of this, the DSTV app will not be available for me?
