Fidentia boss raped

thats one way to put it, but it overlooks the fact that someone got raped in a POLICE van, with policemen in the van..

"Brown is not asking for any special dispensation," said Booth. ''This can happen to any law-abiding citizen. If you are taken in for a drink-driving offence, you can end up being raped, murdered or with Aids. It's extremely worrying and frightening."

Something clearly needs to be done wrt the shocking state of policing and prisons in this country. It seems that committing any offence these days can lead to being raped, killed or given HIV. It really is shocking.

IOL reports "sexually assaulted". Use of rape for sensationalism or is IOL playing it down? Weird.

This is interesting:
"This is an extremely humiliating and traumatising experience, but he feels the need to let people know that this is what can happen when prisoners who are not a risk to society are held together with prisoners who are dangerous.

Seems Brown feels he's not a bad person deep down. Sure, he ruined hundreds if not thousands of lives but suuure, he's different from all those robbers and murderers.

Still sucks though.

and yet ... nothing will happen to the cops that were responsible for the arrest ... or even the ones guarding his cell when he was beaten up .... even though he has not been convicted yet, he is treated as a criminal .... this shows that the police are indeed about the law .... as they can arrest you for anything(without proper proof/recourse) ... and u spend a night in jail with bubba ... and then u end up with aids ....
I hope he sues the dept and the minister in particular!!!

Cant say i feel for Arthur.... (refrains from jokes)

However, the raping just goes on and on and on and on ......

Jeepers mate.

IIRC, sodomy is still seen in this country as sexual assault, not rape.

You don't even have to commit an actual offense this days to be thrown in jail. Or at least threatened with jail time :(

this POS should have thought about the consequences of his actions before he screwed tens of thousands of people. I have no sympathy for him whatsover.

if you think Karma is funny, then yea... feel free to view it as funny then

I sincerely hope you never get tossed in the back of a cop van for clapping some oke at the scene of a fender bender. There's probably a pun in there somewhere but it wouldn't be funny.

Keeping violent and non-violent criminals together is a problem. It has always been a problem. The only difference between now and 30 years ago is that then it would never have made it into the newspapers.
