I am getting this error on almost every video on youtube at the moment "We're sorry, this video is no longer available." using my telkom account. am I the only one?

Mod_Note - possible solution
Hi Niccia,

Try configure your browser to use the SAIX Proxy (Assuming that your ADSL account is SAIX-based):

dsl-cache.saix.net

This should completely eliminate the problem.

Port number should be filled in as: 8080. You can also select 'Use proxy for all protocols'.

I have been getting the same errors for about a week now on youtube. And myspace is in Spanish as well...

Watched one this morning, gave the error this afternoon and was working again right now. Really weird!

Since Sunday... :(

Yeah, i get a lot of these errors. I usually reload the page a few time until the error disappears.

I have also been getting pretty much constantly (on a SAIX based connection) :(

If myspace is in spanish it means Telkom is rerouting traffic through Europe so in all probability the link between SA and New York or Hong Kong is down again

I had the same problem, just hit refresh 2-3 times, it worked for me.

Wow, I thought it was because of the Video Recording Software I had installed on my computer (Web Stream Recorder Pro from Sytexis). But if you all are seeing it as well then there must be something wrong.

I wonder if Google is pulling all of the youtube videos that are supposedly violating copyright in some kind of massive clean-up drive. Because I know that paramount are on their case about all of the copyright issues.

I find pressing refresh or F5 a few times solves the problem - very annoying though

Use the SAIX proxy: cache.saix.net port:8080

Seems to work then ;) good 'ol SAIX messing us about...

YouTube: "We're sorry, this video is no longer available"

Is anyone else suddenly getting this error for almost all videos? I'm going to try using TOR to see if videos load that don't load directly with iBurst...

I only get the "video no longer available" error when FF is set to use "direct connection ot the internet". When using a proxy (dsl-cache.saix.net) they work fine.
