DStv’s web channel

as soon as get my Neosmell account I will be able to make use of the DSTV VOD
 
I was totally misinformed about this. I wil never listen to my colleagues unless its work related
 
if you have the mca pvr you already have it if you have the L17 software but its still in beta testing;)
 
How exactly does this work? Like for example if my parents have DSTV could I use their account to dl stuff?

if it's a premium account yes, you can download Egoli and Carte Blanche yay! :sick:

you mean you can other things with your decoder than you should ? mmmm
 
The DSTV on Demand Service on the PVR is not really a VOD service. They merely utilise some unused HDD space on the PVR to push down content to your PVR - you do not have a choice. It is usually 4 or 5 movies that has already been shown on DSTV and the past week's episodes of Carte Blanche and 2 or 3 other series. Same as if you recorded it yourself.

I can't see it becomming a true VOD service with our local broadband pricing. Maybe in Nigeria.
 
The content is DRM so you can only watch it in WMP. Us Linux folk can't access it even if we wanted to.
