Musica caught selling fake goods

Hahaha, those stupid bastards!

I once bought a CD from Musica that had this bad watermark on it, it didn't play in my CD player.. but because it played in theirs, there was nothing 'wrong' with it, and flat out refused to swap it out after arguing with me that my CD & DVD player was budget. So I stood by the entrance telling everyone what rubbish they sold and the kind of service they offered.. until they forced me to leave..

Went to Look & Listen, told them about the CD, they didn't even look at the receipt they swapped the CD out there and then with in 2 minutes, saying they'd just send it back to their distributor, knowing I bought it from Musica!

So now there's absolutely no reason to buy from Musica, stupid scam artists.

How come I know this and I have never purchased a SK product for resale in my life? Maybe because I am the consumer and have long realised you won't buck the system's high prices without importing direct (as I have done in the past).

SK should be ashamed in this case too... their prices STINK!
 
I have never bought anything from Musica. I always thought they were over-priced. Turns out they were over-charging for junk.

Is the Playstation stuff actually manufactured illicitly, or is it just distributed by someone other than Ster-Kinekor?

The problem is that with everything made in China these days, they will do extra production runs and then sell that off. My previous workplace their products fell victim to this, they sold the copies to whomever they wanted to.

This is what happens when the legit version is overpriced. I know it does not legitimize what has happened here but I think Ster Kinekor's monopoly has to be seriously questioned as it is not in the public interest to have them as the sole authorised distributor aka monopoly of these sorts of things.

/sarcasm. But that's piracy! Coz of people like you we have to push our prices up on our counterfeit, I mean legit, products. /sarcasm.
 
I blame ster kinekor - why should they have the monopoly for playstation goods! Everything has to be bought through them!
 
I bought 2 older CDs from Amazon and paid R70 to get them both to my door. Musica wanted R200 a piece cos they arent available here...
 
It isnt a monopoly, its a business arrangement, they happen all over, and is often to try and offer a decent service and integrity of the product. That being said, the deal with SK is a bit of a sham because the prices are ridiculously high for the "service" being offered. A monopoly would imply that you could only buy that product from SK and it was the only product of that nature on the market. Which it isnt, you can buy generic accessories such as logitech and there are games / music / movies which are produced by different studios.

Now for the more on topic. LOL at Musica - How stooopid do you get... tsk tsk
