I hate it when top local properties are sold off to foreigners..but love it when SAB Miller buys up all the other companies. :D

And of course this is a big 419 scam..pigeon english anyone?

Looks a bit shaky 2 me 2. Why dont Globacom wanna put a good financial offer 2 Telkom and take the 50% of VodaCom. That way they can do what they want with Vodacom. This merger idea smells funny. TELKOM should rather auction of the 50% of VodaCom 2 the highest bidder !
TELKOM must not gamble with shareholders money !

Why is this the first thing that comes to mind when Nigeria is connected to anything...I don't think I would be very happy being a Nigerian financier (a legit one, if there are any ;)).
 
Well given that Vodacom themselves would have to be involved in the deal since Telscum only own 50% of the company, my guess is Vodafone would scupper the deal unless they get a controlling stake in Vodacom out of it.
