Dear Friends

There is currently a major network fault on the IS and SAIX backbone.

Problem: Little to no data throughput.

Engineers are attending.

On behalf of these networks, we would like to apologise for any inconvenience.

Kind regards
MrBEEP

Yurre, this is big.

Both my capped and uncapped ADSL lines went down.. and I mean DOWN.

The problem is so much worse on IS than it is on SAIX.. but SAIX also has issues.

Its Verizon also choking? This site took forever to load.

ah ok, sounds interesting...

The v.90 modems stll not working up to scratch?

I actually feel sorry for people having to do specific work on local now that the SAIx and IS is down, how the heck does this happen?

Yes, i can see it now, walk into his office

"Sir, MrBeep has critical information about the IS backbone"

"MrBeep you say?"

"Yes sir, he posts on MyAdsl.co.za"

"Good to know"

Mysteriously after that i have to start looking for another job

:p

Call axxess and ask them what is wrong with the dsl. they wil tell you that serval exchanges are offline

Well if im correct, even vodacom and mtn should be having the same problem. Since you still gotta go through SAIX/IS to get to local sites.
