Google Chrome out of beta

and Gmail? How long has that been in Beta?

LoL :D

Well I use Chrome more often than not, but still not overly impressed with it.
Just waiting for all of my add-ons on FF to catch up to the latest version and then it's back to FF for me.

i have been using the new chrome for 3 days now, im very impressed, pages open faster than ever,:o would love to tell microsoft what i think of ie, lets it starts with ssss and ends with sssss, aaah right suuucckkkksssss:mad:

If there's one thing that is, then it's that I'm staying away from Chrome.

Google Chrome is great, loads fast, so does Opera, so does Firefox
I use all 3 browsers depending on websites, kinda sad hey :/ wish they would converge all 3 pro's of each browser into one.

I'm using the trio of Opera, Chrome and IE. Had to dump FF because it kept crashing [probably Vista's fault].

I tried the beta and it really sucked ass. I'm sticking with Opera (as I have done for the last 10 years). Opera 10 looks very nice and when it goes final it will rock.

I wouldnt mind trying Chromie - dont support win2k though... Guess i should upgrade one day.

Chrome's not so bad. Been using it for a while. The frequently opened page function is convenient. I do miss some of the features of Firefox, though...

Only thing stopping me switching completely is the lack of bookmark syncing between PCs.
You listening Google? :P

I with you, but thats why google developed chrome... because of the likes of AdBlock. Its starting to effect their revenue. I cant see this being a new feature any time soon!
Google developed chrome because they need a browser which is better able to support and handle their web applications. They didn't redesign and create a whole new javascript engine to stop adblock! lol

Not only is chrome open source but they are actively developing an extensions platform http://dev.chromium.org/developers/design-documents/extensions so I'm sure it won't be long before most firefox extensions - including adblock - will be available. On the link site I just gave it says:
The following lists some types of extensions that we'd like to eventually support:
Bookmarking/navigation tools: Delicious Toolbar, Stumbleupon, web-based history, new tab page clipboard accelerators
Content enhancements: Skype extension (clickable phone numbers), RealPlayer extension (save video), Autolink (generic microformat data - addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
Content filtering: Adblock, Flashblock, Privacy control, Parental control
Download helpers: video helpers, download accelerators, DownThemAll, FlashGot
Features: ForecastFox, FoxyTunes, Web Of Trust, GooglePreview, BugMeNot
This list is non-exhaustive, and we expect it to grow as the community expresses interest in further extension types.

I love Chrome. It is very fast and responsive. Great for browsing.
I like Firefox. It is flexible and expandable. Great for website development. But it is slow to load, and prone to crash.
I dislike IE. It's a dawg. But there are still some sites that only work on IE.
