Downlink: 3.22 Mb/s
Uplink: 0.36 Mb/s

Gaming for TF2 (SAIX/IS): between 90 and 110 ping.

Me thinks I need to find a better position [in the corner of the room]

My Telkom 3G was down for about 2 weeks, they couldn't pinpoint the problem, but at last this week it was fixed. Now it seems they have upgraded the tower or something because it is flying faster than before.

I just downloaded a 25.5MB file at about 800KB/s (6.4 mbps)

Here is also a speedtest:

Getting uploads of more than 1mbps now, it was about 600-800 kbps before.

MTN is ready to launch its latest wireless broadband network device – an HSPA wireless gateway boasting 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and 2 Mbps HSUPA support.

MTN’s wireless gateway was developed in partnership with Huawei, and is basically a Huawei B970 HSPA router with custom MTN software to ensure ease of use and plug-and-pay on the MTN network.

So why mention it here? There is a MTN thread.

Maxing out the old modem again; time to procure a better one!

I got 5.2Mb/s the other day on speedtest.net with full signal and an external antenna..wicked :)
Will post the speedtest.net result when i get home.

Is it because there are fewer users on Telkom currently that you are getting those speeds? I know that happened with Iburst when I first got it --- before they launched!
