You who are not voting make me sick!!!

I saw and spoke to so many colleagues who are not voting.
You guys moan about the country and the ANC and constantly bitch about crime but you are not voting?
People make me sick.
It should be a criminal offense not to vote.
Funny how the majority of blacks who are mostly voting ANC are still voting (yes not all) and they are the ones who are happy with the current gvt but yet the whites who generally do not support the ANC (generally) are not voting as it is a waste of their precious time.
Makes me sick.
Sorry to make this about race but all these whities bitch all year round and then fail to go and make a difference.

Quite a few people i know of aren't voting. Very sad indeed yet they will be very quick to moan and bitch when the government does something they don't like. *sigh*

Hear Hear - 4 people at work not voting - 3 whites, 1 coloured and my white GF isnt voting either. I am pissed off (only mentioning race because original poster does). I wish they got no christmas bonus for their no vote stance.

I told my GF off and boy was / is she pissed with me, but they must bloody well vote.

J

I bet if everybody who isn't going to vote, would all vote for the DA or COPE, one of those parties would come extrememly close and might, just might, even topple the ANC.

Agreed...then after voting is done, whenever one of my friends starts bitching about state of country...my first question will be, "Well, did you vote?". If they say no...mu immediate answer will be... "Your opinion doesnt matter cos you didnt vote!". Seriously....tired of this too

I agree. I know of quite a few people that aren't voting (all race groups). They don't realise that they have the power to make a difference...its either that or they don't care.

+1 brilliant idea!

Out of my class of 14 people, only 5 are voting, and everyone could have.
Stupid Fools.

It makes me so angry! I also got into a fight with parents as well!
They refused to vote because lines would be too long! WTF

IDIOTS, ALL OF THEM, everyone who doesn't vote!

I don't necessarily agree with the if you don't vote you can't complain logic but I will be voting.

If you support the ANC don't vote, otherwise everyone vote. :D

At least we see the reality that a vote won't make a difference. Dumbass!

The only dumbass is you who are not voting and couldn't be bothered to lift your lazy rear end and go put something back into country.
But then people like you are the first to complain right?
I have volunteered my time on the day to work for the party I am supporting at my station

Yes. A vote won't make a difference. By the looks of things, everyone who has posted here has said they know of 4 or more people who aren't voting. So that's say 13x4 = 52 people who aren't voting. That definitely isn't A vote.

With an attitude like that, what are you still doing in this country?

I know a lot of people white and indian that won't be voting tomorrow. From most of them I hear the same excuse "what difference will their vote make"

But I did atleast persuade everyone in my family to register so they will be able to vote.

I have a right to complain because i am a legal citizen of this country. I do however acknowledge that with the ANC in power, nothing can be done. They will manipulate the polls, they will rig the election to get their 2/3.

You're still a dumbass to think youre vote could make a difference against a government that has for 15 years destroyed a country, and you fail to learn about who they really are. So many in this country are like that.

all of those 52 people that don't want to vote probably also knows atleast 1 person that won't vote. and that 1 person also knows atleast one person that won't vote :p:o

Sickening, how many people in South Africa complain about the poor service delivery but none of them want to stand in a queue to do something about it.
