iBurst ‘under new management’

It is good to hear these things from iBurst. If the company can follow through on its plans it will certainly bode well for the new management. I may even dust off my old iBurst modem and give them another try :D

Good Luck V3G... when are you going to start digging the trench for the Seacom interconnect? :D

“We also have our own satellite capabilities (using our own spectrum) and are serving a number of customers via this medium. International connectivity is via third parties and Seacom will become part of this mix.”

Thank you...

For anyone that is interested on pricing, 5GB 512kbps WiMax unshaped is R990 ex VAT. :-(

Nice ad for them. ;)

Unfortunately I will still be pulling all the accounts we have with iBurst.

iBurst, bigger cap and higher throttled speed please. Then I might stay with you in the future.

As much as I would like to be positive and look forward to better products, pricing and service from iBurst, I have a feeling it is going to be more of the same going forward.

I have been with them virtually since inception and to date have yet to see anything that resembles improvement.

They have many issues that need to be cleared up (these can be found in the iBurst section), but the noises I have heard from there that not much is being done in that department.

Having said that I would be really happy if iBurst could prove me wrong.

...heard it all before - let see if the product offering becomes usable again.

I must honestly say they have improved quite a bit speed wize lately - my iburst is pretty much chewing up mybb forum pages.

still can't download from Rapidshare though.... :(

But they are definitely fast, reliable, and usable these days.

Well done iBurst! :) :)

Kinda walked into the job at 7am and by 7:10 rpm already bugged me for feedback!! :)

Clearly there is a lot to be done and all of the stuff rpm posted is underway. And not just as lip service but real, actual work being done. First priority is to get the billing stuff sorted. You guys clearly indicated that as the top issue. Then all the other stuff as discussed.

Early days, but we'll eat this elephant. ;)
