Google Chrome speeds to 4.0

Absolutely incredible what they've achieved in just one year.

I'm running Chrome 4 and it is insanely fast. Love it!! :)
 
does anyone here use chrome... was wondering how you found it compared to the others
 
If you're looking for something sleek and compact, then Chrome is the way to go.
I used FF for a few years, but moved to Chrome a few months ago, haven't wanted to go back since :D

I disagree.

FF + Extensions > Chrome > Firefox.

There was a similar article on lifehacker this week where they claim 24% of web users said they would switch to Chrome when the extensions catch up.

How secure is Chrome? I can rest assured that FF is secure, or for the most part, especially with the plugins that I have.
 
What the hell, i just downloaded and started using Chrome 3 yesterday... now 4? jeez. LOVE the speed it STARTS... Pity Firefox takes AGES to load even with NO plugins... bye bye Firefox...
 
Its ridiculous the speed at which they are changing version numbers!!
 
The only problem with Chrome is that it uses the same settings as IE, which is very much frustrating. I gota keep removing the proxy settings when I am home and put it back when I am at work. FF has its own settings, great!
 
Chrome = fail. Not sure about the new one though. FF used to be good. Opera is alright except for the bloody irritating mouse gestures. Sigh.
 
Im trying it now for the first time and it is not bad at all. Very responsive.

But I cannot live without my add-ons. I need my:

Smarterfox - Endless pages is a must must must.
AdBlock Plus - Cannot believe all the crap on sites like Keo.co.za and Facebook.
Flashgot - I need but chrome not Got.

+1 on the security concern? FF very safe for me thus far.

So until Chrome can give me the same add-ons I will rather wait 0.5s longer for FF to open
