PC Zones Birthday Sale

Does anyone know when they're having their birthday sale?

It's normally in the beginning of October but does anyone know of an exact date with regards to when it is this year?
 
Last year was 3 October, so it must be the same this year? OR maybe 2nd as 2nd is a Friday?
 
Ooh, nice ...... I need to a get a new HDD and the b-day sale would be timed most awesomely if it is the beginning of Oct :D

it's the highlight of my year, last year i was one of the first ten people to enter the ballito store :s

think they'll have i7s going for 3k this year? They had a c2q go for that price last year
 
But their i7's aren't R3999 at the moment like their C2Q's were. Waiting to see C2Q for 2.2k :P 1K off like last year.

Their online component (zones.co.za) consists of their advert scanned into a computer, basically. The store itself is in Pinecrest Center in Pinetown (Durban) and there's also one in Billito somewhere.
 
and brick and mortar is an overstatement of note, the place is about 12 squared meters in size, and about 156333 people go there to mostly buy R50 web cams and packs of CD spindles for R10.

edit: and if anyone does go there, please post some pics, I would love to see the carnage

They release a pricelist usually about a week before the sale. Last year was a huge two page advert . I want a new graphics card and screen!!

Dont really need much this year. Mabe will get a wifi dongle and flash drive if they are going cheap. Then again might not be worth it standing in tht insane line for small things.

Also dont forhet to check out Mitabyte. They usually try to compete ith PC zone and have there own sale.

Lol basically the same cpu, motherboard and ram. I also have the same power supply!

The anticipation is killing me, I just hope they don't decide not to have a birthday sale this year !
 
Might "splash"out on 2 nice new graphics cards so I can actually game on my pc again...
 
Hmmmmm guess who's got the birthday specials :D

First off, I must say I've known the PC Zone folks for almost 4 years now and this is the 3rd birthday I've had with them so I'm quite accusomed to their prices & specials. But this year... all I can say is I nearly fell off my chair!!

Unfortunately I can't reveal any specifics just yet (they will available on Monday next week) but most of you who've mentioned wanting goods, you should definitely wait. This is PC Zone's 10th birthday and the specials are super fsking awesome!

The birthday will run from the 02 - 04 October
