I'm sure most multiple lens owners have a favourite lens amongst their collection.

Mine is the uber cheap (build and price) Canon 50mm f/1.8 simply because of its speed and image quality.

So do you wish to know our favourite lens or our primary lens?
I like my 70-200mm f4 L, but I use the 18-55mm IS as my primary.

Either/or.

My primary lens is my favourite - that's why its my primary. However if they for some reason differ then mention both :)

Depends what you mean by primary. My favourite:
Bigma (Sigma 50-500)
but my most used lens is:
Sigma 24-135

To simplify things I've changed the thread to "favourite".

Dont know yet, just got an alpha 200 from my bro for 2K and my old H5... He has a lot of lenses, for his alpha 350, but now he is selling it and the lenses cause he bought a nikon...

My favourite is the EF-S 17-55 2.8 IS USM, which lives on my camera.
Mine is due back today from Factory Service Center in Newport News VA - it was still working well, but occasionally the image in the viewfinder twitched when re-composing with IS on - It got the new upgraded IS motor - total cost including return shipping $95.00

Yip, best way to get away from the computer screen.
Just did the math and your 10-22 on the 50D is a little less than 5° wider than my 16-35. Maybe I just need to get a decent tripod and try my hand at landscapes. :)

I'm loving the 50mm f1.8. The depth of field and the speed is great :) plus the lens on the body is so light

Outta interest and slightly off topic, how did you do that calculation?

I completely messed it up actually.

The 10mm has a 96.232° fov on the 50D
The 16mm has a 82.580° fov on the 1DMk3

So its actually a difference of 13.65200°

Oh, I didnt realise the angles were given somewhere.
I thought you had to whip out the calculator and do some proper maths :)

I used an online fov calculator.
