Neotel NeoFlex stock confusion

Company contradicts itself regarding NeoFlex stock availability
Nothing new in the telecoms industry... Anyone spending a bit of time on BB can confirm VC and MTN does that all the time too.

Neotel should burn to the ground - who want a service that can't guarantee anything?

Funny story.... Two of my colleagues had NeoFlex, both were appalled by the low speed and frequent disconnects and after a long battle with Neotel, Neotel agreed to cancel their contracts and take back the devices. Neotel never came to collect the devices even though they phoned multiple times and made appointments for collection. I guess Neotel have so many returns that they don't need to order any new devices.

Garauntee's

1. No provider gives a garauntee unless you're a business and you have an SLA with the provider.
2. All providers give a "Best effort service" nothing different.
3. @ RPM did Mukul Sharma change his name to Makul?

MTN, Vodacom, & CellC all have disconnects and dropped calls yet nobody whines? Some how I think Neotel is attracting all the whiners from Telkom... Now Telkom is laughing and Neotel is sweating bullets... Neotel you have my sympathies guys.. keep going you'll get there. I at least will wait till you get the kinks ironed out.

You really don't know what you are talking about here. Your sympathies should go to neotel customers that have to put up with frequent disconnections and a call centre that hardly is available. I would be greatly surprised if you had any first hand experience with neotel and if you did it must have been the tremendously short honeymoon period where everything works fine. I guess it's a mere kink when you sign up to neotel and they say you are in an excellent coverage area only for that coverage to be degraded a few months later:sick: I personally went from an excellent coverage area to needing an external antenna for 'high speed' internet:erm:

Hectic.. and I was going to phone them this week for a Neoflex contract. looks like I'll keep away for now.

I think the only way to let current users keep decent speeds is to break into Neotel head office and steal all the available devices that no one else can join the network and kill our speed and service more than is happening already. :D

Sigh...alot of press for Neotel at the moment....just wish they could stabilize our service instead. at the moment having uncapped at 20K/sec is like kissing your sister. your ugly sister. eish.

Most responses from companies are lies, bottom line. There is no integrity whatsoever.

Why, but why can we as consumers in South Africa not get proper service delivery? From the cafee on the corner all the way to Local Goverment we are dishing out hard earned cash, just to be disappointed somewhere along the process. The times that you do get proper service ... well it feels like you are some happy pill. The day feels great and you almost feel you can invite Mugabe for lunch, well not really but still. The great thing though is that business with the great service delivery will have you as a customer for life! Surely that must inspire us all to deliver a great service?
