Google Maps officially launched in SA

Yippe the get directions feature is back... I just tested it .. damn being going the wrong way to work for years no wonder I'm late
 
Its pretty kewl if you compare it from last yr march to this yr there is a HUGE improvement. :) Been using it a lot lately.
 
Driving time estimates are not very accurate. Garmin's are usually pretty good. Hopefully Google will improve their data with time. Free gps nav is pretty cool if it works right. Now all we need is uncapped phone only internet to use services like this...
 
Google Maps & Iphone

Google Maps Directions for SA is not working on my Iphone. I wonder why?
 
They don't have the one side of my street blocked off. Keep giving me directions to drive through the fence. In fact I can't see any of the road closures. Take Wendywood for example

Seen the google maps street view car driving around Jozie a few weeks back. Wonder what weird and wonderful images its captured
