Hello!

Just trying to figure out how long ADSL installations by telkom take in general, if we could come together and share this information, then perhaps new applicants will have a general idea of really what to expect.

i.e. From the day applied to the day you were first signed in.

I dont know if this has been posted before, but if so let me know.

under 3 weeks,
it took me longer to order a router online and get it delivered
 
2 months and still waiting.

Applied for a transfer end of October
 
go to the telkom shop close to u and ask them everyday when will the techie come out to install ur adsl i found it works better than phoning them
 
My grandparents line took 2 weeks and 3 days. The techie that installed said it's was a record:D
 
2 years... lol :D

If i remember correctly it was abt 1 month
 
5 days

Applied on the Friday, installed the next Wednesday :D
 
I had to go with 4-6 months, since 9 months was not an option on the poll.
And it did take 9 months, numerous orders and plenty of non-customer centric behaviour by the beast.
