**International Link Speed**

Greetings,

During the last week, accessing any international sites via ADSL is MUCH slower than usual. I am download/accessing @ +- 7Kbs.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?!? I have tested on Telskum & MWeb accounts.

Any idea what international access speeds should be?!?

Today still very slow for me on SAIX. 5 kb/s from sites that usually give 30-50 Kb/s
 
Yip, same here. I'm on 192k and the max dload speed I get is 7KB/s. On SAIX that is.
 
I'm on saix and int has been crawling since last week, it is sad :(
 
same here, but no the whole week, I noticed it on Sat till today
I'm on 1 Mbps and have to wait like a minute to open some websites
 
Also on saix and international generally appears very slow.
 
Its impossible to get mail from google SSL pop (port 995) always times out
 
I agreen ant... I'm hitting hectic lag on browsing, Guild Wars and Medievia (MUD)

Did a test just now from SAIX:

What the hell is going on with SAIX? sheesh, poor saix users.
 
Same here on a SAIX account, no Steam, no Easynews...

Seems to be affecting the shaped and unshaped saix packages, just did a test on unshaped.. same results.
