Pity the website looks so bad on Firefox.
I suppose it was coded for IE users only.

Dunno what FF you using, I am using ver 2 and renders perfectly, looks identical to my IE 6.

I'm using FF2 and I also tried with FF 1.5 both running under Linux.
The content in the panes - particularly the middle one spills over other content which chops off the list of account types.
Same happen with the right pane.

I get something similar if I increase font size excessively

It was actually coded for firefox and renders fine on both my FF1.x, FF2, IE6 & IE7.

What resolution screen are you using?

hmmm....I see...
The problem isn't that its not browser compliant, but rather that its created with CSS style-sheets and your low screen-res cant handle the 800px divs.

1024x768 may not be as high as some people use but I wouldn't call it low res. :D
Not all of us have 19" or bigger monitors where you need to use higher resolutions.
In fact 1024x768 is a very common resolution and it could be an issue if OpenWeb aren't primarily aiming at gamers who have the hardware for higher resolutions. Plenty of people still using 15 and 17 inch monitors.
